Kristen did such an incredible job with altering my wedding dress, she did it to absolute perfection, it was better than I could ever imagine. I went in feeling so nervous as my dress was very heavy and had a lot of tulle to deal with, but it was absolutely not a problem for her.

We were worried about my bust as I was breastfeeding at the time and I wanted it to be nice and snug and she took it so perfectly it didn’t move an inch the whole night (anyone who has breastfed before knows what an impossible task that would be).

You did such an amazing job on my dress – the sleeves made such a huge difference to the overall look of the dress. When I told people the dress didn’t originally come with sleeves none of them could believe it since they blended in so well with the rest of the dress! Growing up you always see tv shows like Say Yes to the Dress or movies where the bride sees their wedding dress and they instantly fall in love with it and it’s tears all around – well when I first bought my dress I thought that I had discovered that those moments were all fictional, that they didn’t happen in real life. The day I went to your studio and tried on my dress (even with the pins still in it!) I was holding back tears because your alterations had turned a dress that I liked a lot into a dress that I absolutely loved.

I was at a bit of a loss as to what shoes I was going to get, I’ve never been a fan of pointed toes before but after your advice I bought a pair of gorgeous pink pointed toe shoes and they’re easily my favourite pair of shoes now, and they were a hit at the wedding too!

I highly recommend Dressmaking and Such! I bought my dress second hand so I had originally missed out on the excitement of going to a bridal boutique to try my dress on - until I arrived at Kristen's. This studio was just perfect and such a beautiful element leading up to my wedding.
